Up for auction is a PHS documented 1965 Pontiac GTO with a 389 ci and a auto transmission. Original color was the rare Iris Mist stated in the PHS docs. This car needs a total restoration. The engine runs good with no smoke or funny noises and does drive but is not road worthy as the tires are rotted and the brakes work but i noticed the master cylinder is leaking. It drives good enough to drive on a trailer to take it home. This was originally a vinyl top car that must have been removed years ago sense i see no signs of rust. There are some small rust areas that can be seen in the pictures. 1) Left lower front fender & inner edge where the hood meets. 2) Trunk has some rust through but i think it's repairable without replacing the trunk floor. 3) Right rear wheel well behind the tire has two rust holes. Aside from these areas the car looks good. Car has no exhaust so will need a new exhaust system. What you see with the car is all i have. I have described this car to the best of my knowledge.
