Vehicle Detail

1987 Porsche 930 Turbo 3.4 400 HP This 930 is exceptional in every way. It is in impeccable condition. It has many intelligent, quality performance enhancements to increase reliable performance to an exceptional level. I am a 51 year old professional jet pilot and two time aviation world record holder. I know equipment and how to operate and maintain 930s. I have owned 3 930s and many 911s. I have owned this 930 for the most part of 10 years. It is in exceptional condition with the normal signs of loving use. I have a book of top dollar service tickets that date back to 1995. I personally have spent $29,000 plus over the years keeping this 930 in top performing condition. I just had a top end rebuild / reseal / Andial re-ring done for $5600. This is an exceptional opportunity for the serious, performance oriented buyer that is not afraid of a correctly upgraded 930 and engine. In the world of 930s there is the good, the bad, and the ugly. If you buy the wrong 930 you will spend, spend. spend. If you buy the right 930 you will still spend. If you buy the right 930, you will spend less and get more money out when you choose to sell. My car has been maintained to the highest standards and I have the receipts to prove it. It has great ownership history. It is a very high performance car. It is a 930 is for the purist that understands true race performance for the street. Stock 930s are slow in comparison, I mean slow. This car will give you one thrill after another. It will give anything on the street a run for its money, I mean anything. At 2900 pounds, and 400 plus horsepower, you can get the job done. Please, serious inquires only. Interesting trades considered. Feel free to call me, Robert the owner, at 405-205-7041. You will not be disappointed. It is time for a changing of the guard. Exterior: The exterior is Gaurds Red. It appears to be all original. The CarFax is totally clean. There is no indication or evidence that the car has ever had any body damage anywhere on the entire car. The car has no marks, scrathes, or door dings. The nose does have the standard minor rock chiping that are common for any car that is driven on the road. The car is a solid 9.5 of 10. All panels match perfectly. There is zero sign of rust, anywhere. You are welcomed to have the shop or expert of your choice examine the 930. Interior: The interior is full factory tan leather. The seats are in very good conditon with no wear on the driver bolster. There are no scratches, tears, or blemishes on the seats. The seats do have standard leather age petena. The dash is like new with now cracks or marks. Door panel sare perfect. Stereo: In the last 12 months a new Alpina CD AM/FM player was installed along with an Alpina power amp in the front trunk. There is also a MP4 IPod cable the comes out of the glove box. 2 new Polk speakers were installed in the doors. Body: Factory 930 Widebody in Gaurds Red. New 17 inch OZ racing wheels. Front tires 225x50x17. Rear tires 275x40x17. All four Sumitoma HTZ III. Fronts 75% rears 50% remaining. Adjustable rear swaybar. Engine / Drivetrain / Transmission: In 1998 at approx 40,000 miles the second owner made the decision to spend $40,000 in performance upgrades. He brought the car to legendary Porsche tuner John Reeves of Tulsa Oklahoma to make the following upgrades: Overhaul engine installing new 3.4 Mahle Porsche MotorSport Factory Pistons and Cylinders. installed Race Wear heavy duty cylinder studs, Race Wear rod bolts. Full stainless steel headers and full stainless steel twin outlet exhaust. Custom wastegate exhaust pipe. European high flow fuel injection system. 964 Sport camshafts. Ported and polished heads and manifolds. K-27-28 turbo charger. Andial intercooler. Always .9 turbo boost spring. Electromotive crank fired programable ignition. K&N airfilter. In 2007 I had a new cluth assembly was installed. 4 new 17 inch OZ Racing Wheels were istalled at this time as well as an adjustable rear sway bar. I recently had the engine removed and a top end overhaul and inspection done for a total of $5614.00. Valve train, cams, pistons, cylinders, and associated assemblies were cleaned and inspected and found to be in as new condition. A new Andial ring set was installed as well as all seals, hoses, gaskets and any required parts (listed on sevice ticket) were replaced as necessary. Car returned to service and is performing excellent. This 930 will redefine performance as you know it. Ownership History: This is my complete understanding of the onwnership history of this 930. Originally purchased in the Dallas area by original owner and kept till about 26k miles. Second owner was from Tulsa. This owner did the 3.4 John Reeves major upgade in Tulsa at 40k miles. I bought the car from a high end dealer in Springfield Mo. in 1999 with 43k miles. I sold the car to the owner of Cobalt Boats in 2000. He kept it at his Grand Lake house near Tulsa having all service done by John Reeves. I bought the car back from the owner of Cobalt in 2006 with 51k miles. I sold it to my airline pilot older brother in Phoenix in 2008. He kept in his garage for 1 year and used it very little. I bought it back from him in late 2008. I 2009 I sold it to a close friend in Oklahoma City that is a car collector. It sat in his car collection warehouse next to his Lamborghini for 1 year with little to no use. Now, finally, I have it back, again. It has lived an adult ownership life of privelege and pampering. When not delivering unparrelled excitement, it lounges indoors waiting for its next mission. It is the most exhilerting car I have ever owned. You will agree. I buy and sell the 930 based on my financial situation, ability to spend, and level of performance addiction at the time. Serious buyers feel free to call. . Interesting trades considered. Robert 405-205-7041
