1992 Suzuki dr650 I bought this bike last year for 1,850. I went right at it and completly torn the whole bike down and rebuilt every part on it, if it wasn't rebuilt then it was replaced. The frame is now jet black with 3 coats of clear over that. The front forks were completly torn down and rebuilt with the good seals new fulid and new boots. The engine has been bored over with new piston and rings, the valve's were recut, the head was resurfaced. (600 dollars just to do the engine) It's also got a new rear fender from japan which is where a lot of the parts came from, only place I could get them.The swing arm has all new bearings and seals. The front fork has new bearings and seals, same with the rear. New 6 gallon gas tank,new grips,new oil-ring chain,new front sprocket, all new throttle cables, new choke cable, new performance muffler, all the old brake fluid was cleared out and was and replaced with new fluid.new k&n filter,new battery,new pia headlight, new led turn signals still needs resisters,new led brake light with lic bracket,new front and rear tires, I'm sure i'm forgetting a lot, with way over 3,000 dollars into it. Now for the bad I had a jet installed when i had a shop go threw the carb, and it's to much so that needs to be changed back down. Having problems starting because of the carb, i've been told by a friend of mine that builds choppers that's a easy fix, just haven't had time too run it out to him so he can fix it. who ever buys this bike I will give you the # for him. Also has a small oil leak where the wires go inside the side case,needs a new seal easy fix. Only reason for selling is bought a new house and just don't have time for it anymore, and need the money.
