I’m selling a 2003 Dodge Neon SXT with a 5 speed. This is a 4 cylinder car that gets 30+ mpg. I had bought the car as a commuter car and put about 15,000 miles on it since late last year. I’ve bought and sold cars on here before and I always find surprises when buying them. I will try to be as close as possible on everything. I took it for a spin the other day and noticed it needed brakes. So I replaced the fronts with new rotors and pads, the rears got new shoes as well. The tires were just rotated with the brake job. The plugs were replaced just after buying it. I think it still has the OEM plug wires. The engine doesn’t use or burn any oil and since owning it. I have used only Valvoline High mileage oil and a Fram oil filter. No funny engine noise and the serpentine belt was just replaced before I bought it. The tires have close to 60% tread left on the 4 Goodyear tires, with even ware. The interior is not bad with little signs of ware. Has cold A/C and the power windows work as well. It has a factory remote lock/unlock key fob, there is only one since that was all I got. The radio, CD player and speakers work flawless. The spare tire is in the trunk w/ jack. It doesn’t look like it was ever used. Trunk is clean as well for a 03. Better condition than I would have thought for its age. The paint shines well with little scuff marks. It drives down the road straight doesn’t pull to one side or the other and turns just fine. I did not clean under the hood I’m trying to not hide anything so you can see everything. At the time when I bought this, I looked at all kinds of cars for under $3500 most were clunkers. I bought one in WV that I went all the way down there to pick up and was nothing at all like it was described. It was a 23 hr round trip for nothing. Now don’t forget, this is a 7 yr old car so you will have some small dings and scratches. The passenger side front fender has bondo, not by me, but it was that way when I bought it. There is a dent in the both passenger side doors as well. Again this was in it when I bought it. If I were too keep it longer, I was just going to get a painted one off EBay for $200. I think could use one new strut in back if memory serves me. I have not had any problems with fluid leaks. But about 3 months ago there was a little power steering line one and we put some Lucas steering fluid in it and it stopped. This is a car that with a little love, should be able to last another 100 thousand with out any problems. I bought it with the intention of that, since its such a great price for so little. Before I forget there is a little rip in the driver’s seat. I will try to get a photo of it. Again I’m not asking much for it, this is a no reserve auction. You are to handle shipping and all costs.
