1969 Triumph Bonneville

I found this bike at the Rhinebeck Vintage Motorcycle Show in upstate NY. There were so many amazing bikes there at "amazing" prices, but I found a couple of real sweet Triumphs that I'm offering up for sale this week. This one is a beauty! 1969 (registered as 1970) unmolested hardtail with a 1978 750 5 speed drivetrain. The speedo says 15k but the drivetrain is low mileage. The motor is very strong and starts super easy! This is the late year '78 w/ the improved Amal carb system. The 5 speed shifts nice and tight. The tank is from a 1960 Triumph w/ a nice old school flame job. The bars are Harley drag style for a nice low hand position. The forward controls are great for taller riders, but anyone could fit on this compact bike.19" wheel up front and 16" on the rear. Two Amal carbs w/ new filters. I installed new fork tubes and seals. Bike still has valid transferable registration in NY. No title is required in NY or NH, so all you need is the registration and my bill of sale for easy registration in any state! This bike gets lots of attention and is really fun to ride. Fast and reliable! Super lightweight and real easy to handle! This bike is ready to rock n' roll, so whether your a novice or veteran rider, there's nothing much more fun than a vintage Triumph!
