Up for sale is my 1994 Mazda Protege DX. It has 110,000 miles and is in great running condition. It is a 5 speed manual and the clutch feels solid. It gets great mileage, 36 on the highway and 28 in the city. I just installed an Alpine CD player and there are four very crisp-sounding pioneer speakers inside. All four tires are less than a year old; it has new front brake rotors, new timing belt, outer tie rod ends, CV joints, Ball joints, the wheels were aligned about a thousand miles ago and when I changed the timing belt, I had the radiator hoses, the alternator belt, the a/c belt, and the water pump replaced as well. When I first bought this vehicle, I had the front driver and passenger seat belts replaced, the spark plugs, the spark plug wires, the distributor cap, and the fuel and air filters replaced. The car is also wired for a system in the trunk. I have put approximately $1800 in this car since I bought it several years ago and it has taken good care of me. I am selling this car because I am moving to South Korea for a year and need to get rid of it. There is a rattle from one of the heat plates, the muffler should be replaced, the back left door has trouble opening, and there are quite a few light scratches. I'll see if I can fix the 'low windshield washing fluid' light stuck on, and I will properly mount the cd player before auction is over. The paint coat still looks good and the car is freshly waxed and cleaned inside and out. I have owned this car for 3 1/2 years and would otherwise keep it for the low mileage and how trustworthy it's been.
