1989 Suzuki QUADZILLA LT500, NO RESERVE, ORIGINAL OWNER Vehicle Description NO RESERVE auction for a very good condition 1989 QUADZILLA 500cc 2 stroke Quadracer! I purchased this brand new in December 1989. It comes with the original sales receipt and the Certificate of Origin. It has been driven once a month, on average, for the past 20 years. It is in the condition of other quads that are about one quarter of its age. Between getting married and having back surgery 1 year after I purchased it, and the quad being 175 miles away at my parents house, it didnt get used much at all . The top and the bottom end were rebuilt a few years ago. The fenders have minor cracks that I repaired. There are some minor tears on the seat. A weld on one side of the center bar on the handlebars cracked years ago, but does not effect the handlebar operation as the main handlebar tube is in good shape. The FMF exhaust, magneto coils, ignition coil and rear axle bearings are fairly new. The original carburetor is still on it with the stock jetting. The original rear tires, the front sprocket, and the chain were just replaced 2 years ago. They only have around 10 hours of use since then. I just replaced the air filter and the original graphics, and gave it an oil change. The front tires and the rear sprocket are still original. It starts easily, usually on the first kick. Since years ago, the kick starter tends to stick in the bottom position only when started, but springs back up with a gentle tap not effecting kick starting operation at all. It pulls very strong with violent acceleration. Mechanical wise, engine + transmission + steering + suspension + brakes, everything works very well. It is in very good riding condition.
