I'm a woman who bought this bike 4 years ago for $1.250. My son took it for a 10 minute ride and it ran great ! On the way home -- after it had warmed up, the idle began alternationg between racing and dropping down to a near stall. Now here it is, 4 years and over a thousand dollars later, the problem remains. At a motorcycle shop, the cam was replaced and the carb set up. I also bought an another carb, which comes with it, but it was never put on. The carburator that is on it was rebuilt. The cylider was honed and the piston rings replaced --as was the head gasket. I am now being told by another shop that it is an electrical problem. I have also had the front brakes replaced and the battery is less than a week old. Also included is a service manual that was $80.00. This bike still starts up the first time, every time If you're someone who knows something about bikes or has a mechanic who they can trust, it is ideal. It's a really nice looking bike and the tires are pretty good too.
