In great condition inside and out. Non-smoker, garage kept. Automatic transmission, dual setting heated seats and 8 way driver and passenger leather seats, manual convertible top that works smoothly and flawlessly. Both power mirrors work perfectly. Even the glove box lock and light and trunk light work. Please notice how CLEAN ALL of the paint in the door jams and Engine Bay is! 88,051 miles, only 4,000 a year. VERY LOW MILES!!! Autocheck shows changes on titles but only 2 owners not 5! Because of vehicle being 20 years old and Utah and Wyoming state DMV laws, it is listed as mileage exempt on Autocheck. ABSOLUTELY NO ACCIDENTS, NO STRUCTURAL DAMAGE!! THERE IS NO RUST ON THE UNDERCARRAIGE ANYWHERE, this was OBVIOUSLY NOT a winter driven car. ALL of the vin number stickers are ON AND MATCHING ON ALL THE FACTORY LOCATIONS of the entire car!!! Great collector car if you are NOT expecting a $10,000.00 CONCOURSE CAR!! EXCEPTIONALLY WELL PRESERVED 20 YEAR OLD RARE CLASSIC!! RUNS AND DRIVES PERFECTLY!!!!!. Everything works!! Maintained car! Amazing how well the roof and windows seal and keep out water at the high powered car wash. Nice fog lamps. I am definitely a BMW aficionado!!! I have owned many- all convertibles - in the last 24 years. I AM ALWAYS LOOKING FOR A GREAT ONE TO FIX-UP AND BRING BACK TO NEAR PERFECT. THIS IS AGAIN A SUPER RARE CALYPSOROT - METALLIC $35,000.00 VEHICLE!!! I JUST PUT IN 100+ HOURS AND $1,000.00+ IN BRINGING ALMOST EVERYTHING BACK TO AS CLOSE TO NEW AS WELL AS ORIGINAL AS YOU CAN EXPECT IN A 20 YR OLD CAR!!! IT IS NOT PERFECT!! BUT IT IS BETTER THAN 90% OF ALL THE 20 YEAR OLD BMWS OUT THERE!! It has a crack in the windshield that doesn't bother me AND is not in your line of vision, but depending on your state, you may need to replace it to pass inspection. The passenger side mirror glass is cracked but works perfectly. The paint has the usual nicks and scratches and rock chips but HAS A TERRIFIC BRILLIANCE AND IS A FANTASTIC UNIQUE COLOR. You can see where there is wear on the seats but the leather is patched WITH ORIGINAL LEATHER, sealed and very soft and supple, not dried out at all. The 2 doors have original vin stickers but have paint work. THE MOST IMPORTANT THING TO KNOW ABOUT THESE CARS IS HOW EXPENSIVE IT IS TO MAINTAIN ONE, AND THIS ONE RUNS PERFECTLY AND HAS HAD EVERYTHING GONE THROUGH!!!! FOR THE PRICE THIS CAR HAS A LOW RESERVE and even if it doesn't bring what it is really worth, I just love to buy and work on a couple of these cars each year to drive for a few months (WORK on them with my 2 boys and 3 daughters) and keep them on the roads!! NOSTALGIA TOO, this was the car I wanted when I was 25 (now 45) and couldn't afford it. It was fun to drive around with my wife and 5 little kids (9,8,5,4,2) after taking the pictures. Not like my Ferrari's, or my wife's Mercedes ML55 or even my daily driver SAAB VIGGEN, but this BMW just has a different smooth and fun factor, GREAT GERMAN ENGINEERING IN ALL THE DETAILS!!! THIS CAR AGAIN IS NOT PERFECT! I KNOW PERFECT IN THE FERRARI WORLD, BUT IT WILL BE AN EXCEPTIONAL, ROAD WORTHY, DAILY DRIVER and will bring lots of fun and safety for years to come!! I DROVE IT BACK FROM ROCKSPRINGS and have put close to 1,000 miles on the car averaging 28 mpg at 80mph. (I only use Chevron supreme gas). It has a brand new battery, new Mobil 1 10w/40 full synthetic oil with BOSCH filter. The rotors are in great shape and has NEW brake pads on front and rear. NEW TRANSMISSION FLUSH AND FLUIDS, NEW POWER STEERING FLUIDS. New cap, rotor, plugs, wires, belts, hoses and radiator!!!! NEW ALIGNMENT! The fan works AND ALL THE SETTINGS ON ALL THE AIR FLOWS AND VENTS ON THE HEATING/COOLING SYSTEM PERFORM AS ORIGINAL!! HEAT IS HOT!!! AIR CONDITIONING IS COLD!!! The stereo and speakers work great, the finger sensitive bass/trebble/fader/ballance unit is PERFECT and the power antenna goes up and down all the way perfectly, all original!! Has FUNCTIONING Serious Radio unit as you can note by the steering wheel and receiver by the trunk brake light. All the lights and digital displays work on the trip/MPG/temp./computer unit to the right side of the stereo and ALL the check system lights work and turn off and on on the unit up by the rear view mirror. The cruise control works and I put on new wiper blades and new front hood shock/strut. ALL THE ORIGINAL BOOKS, in perfect shape, ARE WITH THE CAR (no original sales receipt). TIMING CHAIN WAS REPLACED AT 50,000 MILES. You will notice from the under car pictures that there ARE NO DRIPS OR LEAKS!!!!! I took a very clear picture so everyone can SEE the REALITY!!! Even the spare tire Perreli P6 is PERFECT and original and never used sitting on another spare identical RACING wheel! I put on NEW BMW BADGES on the front hood and rear trunk and the 4 wheels. MAYBE I SHOULDN'T admit to the following. On the drive back I did 20 MINUTES at 95mph and I took it up to 115mph. VERY, VERY SMOOTH!!! THIS CAR IS SOLID!!! THE TRANSMISSION FUNCTIONS PERFECTLY!! IT DOWNSHIFTS EXACTLY LIKE IT SHOULD!!! 6 CYLINDER 2.5 L WORKS EXCEPTIONALLY SMOOTH, PERHAPS THE BEST OF ANY OF THE OLDER CARS I'VE DRIVEN. Even at those speeds, the temperature guage NEVER moved!!! Always stayed at exactly 1/2, in the middle. The engine cold starts and hot starts on first crank. Key turns easy in ignition, doors and trunk. Door locks both work perfectly. ALL POWER WINDOWS FUNCTIONS ARE FLAWLESS, very strong fast motors, go all the way up or down AND WORK as they should. NOTICE THE DASH IS 99% PERFECT... ever so slight unnoticable 1/2" crack. The rear plastic window is exceptionally see through for 20 years!! There is a small, professionally repaired with no leaks with same window material in bottom corner. NOTICE THE CARPET, GAS AND BRAKE PEDALS. NO ABUSE NO WEAR, EVEN ALL THE WHITE ON ALL THE ACCESSORY KNOBS IS ALL THERE!!! YOU CAN SEE THE WHEELS EVEN LOOK NEW AS THEY WERE ALL PROFESSIONALLY REPAINTED AND HAVE GREAT ALL SEASON TIRES THAT ARE 80-90% THREAD. As you can see in the dash pictures, the 5 green lights are there (and the warning lights all go on at the start) AND ALL TURN OFF WHILE RUNNING! Notice idle speed and coolant temperature too. HARD TO BELIEVE HOW NICE OF CONDITION EVERYTHING IS IN!!!! ANY WINNER CAN FLY IN AND DRIVE ANYWHERE WITH CONFIDENCE!!!! I WILL SHIP IF SO DESIRED, BUT NEW OWNER IS RESPONSIBLE FOR SETTING THAT UP TO PICK-UP AT MY HOME. THE PICTURE OF MY OTHER CARS IS SIMPLY THERE SO THE BUYER WILL KNOW I LOVE AND KNOW CARS!!!!
