Vehicle Detail
I purchased this Camaro back in 1983 and has been covered or stored inside ever since. All of the interior parts have been removed BUT I kept them all. All pieces are there - windows, liner, panels, etc - everything. Car has some rust but not that bad - has been out of the weather for 26 years. The driver's side door has a small dent in the door - was told someone just backed into it slowly. Frame seems fine. I believe this Camaro was originally a stick shift and someone tried to convert to an automatic on the floor. I say this because there is a clutch and there is a on the floor shift. Obviously the clutch was there first? 26 years ago - we got the engine running......then we shut it down. We NEVER drove the Camaro. The engine is the SAME as when I bought it. The transmission is the SAME as when I bought it. Only the headers were replaced. The front headlight/headlamp covers are vacuum operated - not electrical (but I don't know if they work). It is definitely a project car and will require some work. You can view the appraisal report here - http://www.ccefire.org/camaro/68camaroreport.pdf I also have several copies of past titles and owners - I think mostly from the Portland, Tenn area. That was just part of my research some 20 years ago. I have a clear title to this Camaro. I also have several other Camaro parts - for 67, 68 and 69. Mostly rusted and used but could still be salvageable - depending on the person who buys this. This was included in the appraisal report. The report mentions (2) engines.....there is only 1 engine left since it has been sold. The engine you see in the pictures in the Camaro is still the same engine. I also have 2 rear quarter panels/fenders that are included in this - 26 years old but barely have any rust. A deposit of $500 required - and it is nonrefundable regardless of whatever reason. I am showing you a certified appraisal report that I paid for and showing pictures so you should understand the condition of the Camaro. Deposit is required within 72 hours - don't ask for more time.
