This is my personal 1997 chevrolet corvette. I am the legal owner and I have all of the papers to transfer ownership. This is a local canadian car not an import. This car has a clear title not a rebuild or salvage. This is not a show car it is in average streetable condition. The paint is good and shiney but it dose have a little wear here and there the interior is clean but has a little wear in the usual spots, I hope the pictures reflect this. It has the 6 speed manual transmision and clear lexan removable top. I bought this car a year ago from my buddy he owned it for 2 years and purchased it from the neighbor he had just replaced the clutch. This was a dream of mine since high school and when I found out it was for sale I had to have it. Unfortunatly it no longer fits my life style and again it's for sale. This car drives well and tracks straight it stops good makes good power and takes corners like a champion. It just passed air care so it's good for the next 2 years. Since I have owned it I replaced the roof seal, engine oil, transmission fluid, rear brakes with drilled rotors, passengers window regulator, oil pressure sensor, and one head light gear. As for upgrades it has a k&n air filter, stainless corsa cat back exhaust, cross drilled rear brake rotors, and a cags skip shift eliminator so you can granny shift from 1st to second "like in a parking lot". This car gets decent fuel milage in town if your super gentle with the pedals. I got 22 mpg and I live on the side of a mountain so climing hills is the norm but thats a canadian gallon and 94 octane fuel, I always run 94. Unfortunatly the air conditioning dosen't blow cold not sure why, I have noticed the gauges will reset when driving the odd time aparently thats a common issue with this generation but it dosen't affect the way it drives. 3 of the tires have slow air leaks and one pressure sensor dosen't work so when you start it, it says service vehicle soon then service air pressure system service if you press reset it goes away again dosen't affect the way it drives but an easy fix if you replace the sensor with a normal valve stem or like alot of guys do put custom wheels on. The light under the hood dosen't work and the light in the glove box dosen't work. There is a licence plate bracket for the front and it has a few small teeth marks in it, from my buddies dog.
