Vehicle Detail

Recently I was fortunate enough to purchase this fine automobile. Originally I was looking for something unique and way out of the ordinary to build into a cool rod project and I found this amazing 59 which is perfect in everyway for what I want to do. Unfortunately after getting it back to the shop and having a couple of my super dedicated die-hard Mopar buddies (you know who you are) come by and point out how rare this Crown really is (1710 ever made) and how it would be a crime to mess with something so one hundred percent complete, "a true survivor"...blah blah blah... So that being said I will auction it for what I have in it and hope this survivor makes it into the right hands....If not I get to do with it what I want and not feel bad for cutting up this sweet ride. This Crown is a California Desert Car and is wearing it's original paint. It will require a complete restoration, and thats really what it deserves. It was parked and last registered in 1968. It is complete and original. The odometer is showing 84,000 miles which looks by the wear on the components correct . The Texaco Service Station tag on the drivers door shows the last oil change was in 68 with 84k written on the tag. The motor is turning over free and all the mechanical's I have been into are moving and most likely will be salvageable/rebuildable. Everything will need attention but its all there. There is no rust or collision damage underneath the car. The body on this is in amazing condition and those unbelievable 1/4 panels are super nice and super straight. No rust in the Floors, Trunk, Drip Rails, 1/4 Panels all look good. There is rust under the aluminum "spare tire bubble" on the trunk lid. There is bondo behind the front doors in the lower front quarters thats covering some minor rust as well as some small bubbles on the doors down in the front. The roof has some slight rust in the back corners but minimal. It may have been a stainless roof car. Glass is all good. Interior material is drilled by the sun but all the important things other then the material is still in great shape. The brightwork and stainless are in good shape and should straighten & clean up nicely. All the Suspension & Brakes are original and in place and show no sign of damage. This car is loaded with these options. Cruise Control - Power Brakes - Factory Air Conditioning - Power Antenna - Local & Distance Radio - Power Windows - Power Seat wTilt Outs. Its got the original 413 with Cast Iron Automatic. It has the Ebrake drum @ the rear of the Transmission that is operable. Car is sold with Bill of Sale and will need to be towed from it's location at our shop. We will load onto your carrier and all shipping cost's are that of the purchaser. Delivery to the West Coast may be a option please contact for exact delivery costs to your location. Also we can deliver to the Long Beach shipping port for an additional fee for you International Mopar guys just contact for a quote. Ask questions and I will send more or take additional pictures if need be. Thanks for viewing our auction and it will run to the end. Good Luck
