Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE 2008 SAAB 9-3 Turbo X Up for your consideration is my 2008 SAAB 9-3 Turbo X Sports Sedan in Brilliant Black metallic over charcoal full leather. If you are looking at this car, you likely know it was a special edition SAAB 9-3. It is one of approximately 450 sedans imported into the U.S. in 2008. I would guess that roughly ½ of those featured a 6 speed manual transmission. This is definitely a RARE car! It features a turbo charged 2.8 liter V6 with 280hp/295 lb. ft. of torque. In addition, this car includes the Haldex All Wheel Drive system, dubbed Cross wheel drive (XWD). This system is seamless in operation and makes this car a blast to drive! As a part of the Turbo X package, it includes a full body kit with a subtle rear spoiler, 18” charcoal alloy rims, and an upgraded suspension and braking system. This car comes fully loaded with both the cold weather and touring option packages. The cold weather package includes heated front seats and high pressure headlight washers. The touring package includes the memory driver’s seat, rear back-up sensors, and an auto-dimming rear view mirror with universal remote control. The original MSRP on this car was $43,995. This car has all the usual SAAB standard features, including the full power, 6-disc in-dash CD changer with full Bose sound, XM/Sirius ready, Onstar, full leather interior, and carbon fiber trim. This is a one owner Texas car, so that means it has never been driven in harsh winter weather. The car has been garaged its entire life, and it shows because the paint on this car is absolutely beautiful. This is an accident free car. The only paint imperfection is minor scraping on the rear bumper likely caused by a minor bump from another car’s front license plate frame. I attempted to take a photo of the area, but it is so faint, you have to be within a foot of the car to see it. The front spoiler has minor scraping underneath the lip itself; nothing is visible unless you’re under the car (see photos). This a problem area for these cars, as they sit quite low. The interior of the car is in excellent condition. The leather is buttery soft and retains that new leather smell quite well. The carpet is in very good shape, as are the OEM floor mats. The Carbon fiber trim shows very well with no splitting or cracking. Also included with the sale of the car is the original owner’s manual, both electronic keys, and all XM/Onstar/Warranty information. The car currently has 12,400 miles, and may go up to approximately 12,700 by the time the auction closes, as the car is still being driven a few times a week. The car was originally purchased in September 2008, and it has been meticulously maintained by Sewell SAAB for even the most minor of issues. The car comes with a fresh oil change and all records of services provided on the vehicle. This car has always passed the stringent Texas emissions/safety inspection with no problems. This car was purchased by me from Sewell, and it does include the transferable original full warranty for 4 years/50,000 total miles. In addition, the car has a transferable powertrain warranty for 5 years/100,000 miles backed by GM. There is a lot of warranty coverage left on this automobile. This is a truly beautiful automobile, and I do hate to sell it. However, I am heading to Graduate School, so I need to free up some money. It helps with such a dark car and interior. I also just had the Oil changed again, so the car is good to go. While at the dealer, the car also had the radiator hose clamps replaced due to a newer, superior design from a previous recall for the coolant tank in 2009.
