1966 Plymouth Fury I 4-door BARN FIND...Actually an AIRPLANE HANGER FIND!!! LOW RESERVE...BID TO OWN!!!! RELISTED DIDN'T SELL THE FIRST TIME AROUND. TO ALL THE GUYS THAT CALLED ME AND TOLD ME WHAT A GREAT POLICE/FIRE/TAXI CLONE THIS WOULD MAKE.......HERE'S YOUR CHANCE AGAIN TO MAKE THAT CLONE YOU WANT TO DO!!!!! It's true...the Plymouth Fury I was the car used for Police, Taxi and Fire Department use. The car's story is this: It was originally bought by an airplane pilot to be used as a shuttle from the airport to his home and was always stored inside the hangar when not in use. It was used regulary until 1988 and has been rarely used since. The South Dakota license plates are 1988!! It's basically been a one owner vehicle and the owner's family states the mileage is actual. When it was driven briefly in the fall of 2009, the speedometer and odometer quit working. Very few miles have been logged since then approximately 100 more than what reads on the odometer. THIS CAR IS A GENUINE 100% SURVIVOR. It has had nothing in the form of any restoration or touch up. WHAT YOU SEE IS THE REAL DEAL!!! The paint, the interior, engine compartment..ORIGINAL UN-RESTORED!! And as you can see by the pictures, very minor rust. Yes there are dings and scratches, a broken windshield, mouse holes in the headliner, rips in the seats etc. The body is very straight for what it is. 44 years old!! The floors and trunk look solid as seen in the trunk pic. The car is a wide block 318, automatic, power steering, AM radio. It starts, runs and drives great!! I recently drove it 20 miles and it's straight down the road and rides smooth. The rear springs seem to be sagging but like I said, it rides nice. It leaks a little fluids when it sits, and possibly needs a radiator repair. USE IT FOR PARTS FOR YOUR SPORT FURY, OR ENJOY IT AND DRIVE IT AS YOU RESTORE IT. A bonus and talk about vintage air conditioning..the original Mark IV air unit is in the trunk. It's condition is unknown but it's there. PLEASE UNDERSTAND THIS CAR IS BEING SOLD IN AS-IS CONDITION. If this doesn't make sense to you please do not bid on my car. If you have ANY questions please just give me a call if I haven't been clear about something. BID TO OWN but do ask questions. VERY LOW RESERVE...A VERY LOW RESERVE!!!! Bid to own and now for the fine print: Winning bidder to send a $300 non-refundable deposit via Paypal 48 hours end of auction. Balance due in 7 days in the form of cash on pick-up, or a verifiable bank check. I can store the Fury outside for a reasonable time but not forever. I'll work with you anyway I can. The car is located near I-80 in Omaha, Nebraska. Any..ANY questions just give me a call Tom 402-650-3849
