1962 Honda CL

Honda 55 trail bike. I believe this is around a 1962-63 but really cant say for sure. In the mid 1970's my mother and father had two of these bikes they used at camp and this was my mothers bike. She passed away in 1996 and it has set in my basement ever since. I believe this to be a CL model but cant say for sure. Number on frame is C105-F037107. I have seen many like this over the years that was a Honda 50 but never a 55. I will try to discribe its condition the best i can but if there is something i misseed please write and i will try to answer your questions the best i can. The bike was always a good dependible bike and never had any problems with it. Usually starts right up. Bike runs, idles and shifts as it should. 3 speed automatic (no clutch) but you still have to shift the gears. My father covered the seat with some brown vinyle. Headlight high and low beam and tail light works. Small turn signals on handlebars do not work (never did). Horn is not working now but i remember my mother using it. Front and rear brakes work good. Muffler at one time was patched with an epoxy and looks like it is still working. Chrome on wheels is in pretty good shape. Chrome on rack is ok but not perfect. Chrome on rear shocks is pitted. Has a skid plate that we always thought was home made but looks and works great. Odomiter shows 4,812 miles but i dont think the odometer or speedometer works. Bike has the origonal paint, it does have some scratches but overall looks nice. Rear tire is starting to weather check ,front tire dosent have much tread and it is worse than the rear for weatherchecking but both tires hold air and you can still ride the bike. Has two sprockets on the rear, one for trails and im gussing the other one is for the street. This is how these was made back then, with a smaller sprocket inside the trail sprocket. Never used it other than the way it is with the big sprocket. Bike is geared pretty low so it has enough power in the woods for a full size person. Overall this is a great little bike. Bike must be picked up within 2 weeks from end of auction. I will not ship or arrange shipping, its up to you to get the bike home. A $100 deposit to be made by paypal right after auction ends with the balance being paid at time of pickup by cash only, NO EXCEPTIONS. I do not have a title for the bike as my father never got one when he bought it in the 70s. Will sell with a bill of sale.
