I'm selling my 1989 Range Rover which is probably the nicest well set up '89 you will find. I am a Land Rover Master Tech and I set this truck up for use at off road driving event's my dealership holds twice a year. The rest of the time it is used very little and is well taken care of. It has a 3inch OME lift with 2inch spacer's under the springs, skid plates, steering protection plate. ARB winch bumper with 8k warn winch, Rovertym rear arms with 14" travel remote reservior bilstien's, Hella 3000 lights, CB, wilderness rack with shovel and high lift jack, 5 New BFG A/T tires, spare mounted to roof rack. The interior is verry clean with the usual sagging headliner and a tear on the driver's seat bottom I have brand new Land Rover water proof seat cover's for the front seats in the package. All the switches for the windows and seats operate properly, The upper tailgete operates properly as do all the doors and windows. This Rover has no rot or has ever. I ran a dealer search for the history of this truck and found it was purchases in NY new then went to New Mexico and Colorado until returning to NY about 5 years ago which explains why it is not rotted at all. The articulation of the suspension in this truck is amazing and rides well on road as well as being extremely capable off road. The only issue it has is the trans sometimes does not go into first gear at a stop by itself due to a sticking govenor valve so I've been manually selecting first at a stop than selecting drive. This can easily be remidied with a new valve but I hav'nt had the time to fix it and it really does'nt bother me that much. I will include a reman trans with the vehicle or I can repair the valve for dealer cost which the buyer would have to pay above the cost of the vehicle after full payment of the auction. If you are looking at this auction you probably allready know what your looking at and believe me I have not seen a cleaner better looking county since they were new. The '89 is the last year with no abs or sway bars which makes it more appealing to off roader's. There are no oil leaks as the engine has been resealed not too long ago and the swivel's are clean and dry. This Rover will not dissapoint the winner of this auction!!! I have listed the mileage at 108K because the odometer show's less than 40K but was replaced prior to my ownership and there are mileage record's of 68K in LRNA service history. I've added pictures of the interior and also removed the reserve. The picture of the driver's door panel shows the wood trim not attched but in the picture. I will resecure it before delivery of the vehicle. I have not installed the waterproof seat cover's either so you can see the tear in the driver's seat but I can install them as well. As you can see in the pictures the tires and suspension work properly at full articulation with no tire rubbing.
