2003 BLACK CROWN VIC POLICE CAR WITH DOG CAGE AND NO RESERVE!!! RUNS GREAT AND LOOKS GREAT!!! Up for auction is my 2003 All Black Crown Victoria with Police Interceptor w/NO RESERVE. This is an actual retired police car with a dog cage. The dog cage is made by a company called Ray Allen from Colorado Springs, CO. It is an all steel cage professionally made and installed with metal protectors over the windows. Ray Allen specializes in custom dog cages for Police K-9 Units around the world. This cage costs around $1,200. I have a full grown English Mastiff that fits perfectly in the cage. The car has 161,XXX miles on it but runs like new. The car was originally a Police Car in Davenport, Iowa and always received regular and routine maintence. It has BRAND NEW FIRESTONE TIRES w/ all black steel rims. The car runs GREAT and always starts even in -20 degree weather. It has a great ride and makes little to no noise. It goes straight down the road and feels good on the interstate. The body has little to no rust. It does have several small scratches through out . Last year it was keyed. As you can tell in the pictures it is barely noticeable with a little bit of touch up paint. The car looks great but is not perfect as you would expect from an actual police car. It does look good going down the road and turns a lot of heads. On 06/10/10, I replaced the following parts: Serpentine Belt Serpentine Belt Tensioner All New Spark Plugs All New Ignition Coil Boots Ignition Coil Lower Steering Column Shaft These parts were professionally installed and cost $740.00. I have the reciept on hand. It also has a newer Front Steering Rack. With all the new parts it runs awesome and doesn't skip a beat!!! The Air Conditoner also works very well and will actually freeze you out. Sometimes, I have to pop the hood and tap on the blower motor to get it to work. It doesn't take much work and it doesn't happen all the time so I haven't worried about it. It has Professionally Tinted rear windows. This helps cool a dog down in the summer and looks mean...Between It being All Black and the dog cage it is very unique and looks sweet. People freak out when you pull behind them and often drive under the speed limit in fear you're going to pull them over (which gets annoying.) I do have a two spare tires, one of which is mounted on a rim and four chrome five spoke hubcaps which goes with the car. I have the original back seat and rear door skins that goes with it as well. I have to sell the car due to buying a new house and don't have room for it. I am selling the car with a NO RESERVE so my lost is you're gain. You will not find a more sweet looking and reliable car for the price. Also insurance is cheap on it, cost me $23.00 a month.
