1998 Honda CR

This auction is for a 1998 CR500AF. It was built from a CR250. We have built a couple of these bikes. The welding is done by Hotrodsbygeorge.com. This has been my personal cross country race bike. I have owned it for about 10 years. I have a hip problem and I am tired of kicking this monster off. I am going to upgrade to an electric start bike. I am a mechanic and have maintained it to the highest standards for the period I have owned it. It gets a piston every 40 hrs, rings and reeds every 20 hours and an oil change and air filter clean every 4 hours. It starts easy once you build up the muscles in your right leg. This bike turns heads and draws a crowd everywhere we take it. It is a hole shot machine. This bike is very fast and is race ready. Put numbers on it and gas in it and you are ready for the hare scramble/cross country race or the desert. It has: Clark 3 gallon tank ICS Steering stabilizer Race tech gold valves in the forks Small step in the seat Fork bleeders Works connection skid plate Rear master cylinder gaurds Long Horn CR high bend big bars with 1/2 inch risers Bark Busters ASV forged levers Billet tripple clamps FMF pipe and silencer Boyosen Rad Valve 15oz flywheel weight fresh barnett clutch fresh Wiseco 89.5mm piston and rings Excell rims and more that I forgot I'm sure. It has all the necesitys for off road or desert riding. I will throw in a stock tank if you plan to ride MX with it. I can crate the bike for shipping if needed. Buyer will have to arrange shipping. Do not ask me to quote shipping. It will be in a crate 7ft long, 4ft wide, 4.5ft tall, and will weigh around 300lbs.
