My wife and I bought this bike back in 2007 with ambitions to ride across the country but reality is setting in and I accept it is never going to happen. In three summers it has spent most of it’s time sitting in my garage so it is time to move it on to someone who has the time to ride. The color is Dark Graphite metallic. Since I have owned it, it has never seen rain and was always kept in the garage. New battery this spring. Options are too numerous to detail but include: Audio System with AM/FM, single CD and 6-disk CD changer Passenger controls for stereo Alarm System with Wireless Remote Cruise Control Heated Seats and Grips Power Outlets for Driver and Passenger (for accessories like heated jackets) Power Center stand (very nice) Reverse Gear Power Windshield ABS Brakes Battery tender Soft travel bags for sides & rear trunk Title is free, clear, and in my possession. All BMW factory manuals and factory tool kit included. The only defect that I am aware of is a scratch on the left side from the lawnmower handle getting to close. See the picture. Depending on the light and the direction you are looking from the scratch goes from unnoticeable to obvious. The picture is taken to show it at its worst. Also the rubber molding on the left side engine guard shows small mark from previous owner tipping over in his driveway – see picture. Now the legal stuff: I require a $500.00 non-refundable deposit via PayPal within 24 hours of the completion of the auction – NO EXCEPTIONS. Balance must be paid by the buyer within 7 days of auction's end by either cash, wire transfer or certified cashier's check drawn on a United States bank. Neither the title nor the bike will be released until payment has been made in full and it has been cleared by my bank. The buyer takes all responsibilities for any and all shipping costs associated with transportation of the bike. I will be glad to assist in any way that I can including I can pick you up at Akron Canton Airport if you are flying in to ride the bike home. I will also consider taking one last ride to deliver within the Cleveland, Columbus, Pittsburg area but you must contact me and make arrangements at lease 24 hours before the auction ends.On Jun-25-10 at 04:37:15 PDT, seller added the following information:A death in the family means I will only be available on Tuesday June 29th or Friday July 2nd (or anytime thereafter) to deliver the bike. My appologies but I can not be available to transfer title on Monday, Wednesday or Thursday.
