Vehicle Detail
You are bidding on a super clean 2002 GMC Yukon Denali. It is super clean because when I purchased the vehicle from a dealership roughly 4 months ago; I took the interior out of the vehicle and scrubbed every piece of it with a hand cloth and soapy water. The fender well guards that protect the undercarriage and motor of the vehicle in the fronts and back of the vehicle were also removed. I did scrub them and throw some black rubberized undercoating on them. What were on the fender wells of the vehicle were 8 years of road dirt & grime. In doing do, this gave the fender wells a look as if they were like new. The interior door panels were removed and I found that the front speakers were getting wet from the car wash & rainy weather. What I did was replace all 4 door speakers in the vehicle with aftermarket Polk Audio Marine Rated Components. When the speakers were installed I used water proof foam baffles in order to protect the speakers. All other stereo components are factory and it is still a factory Bose. In removing the door panels, I used an entire package of Ultimate Dynamat which is a sound deadening material used to quiet down road noise. The dynamat makes the doors themselves a little heavier because that is some heavy stuff. It gives the vehicle a quieter ride. In removing all the seating from the vehicle, a high quality leather conditioner was used on the seats when they were out of the vehicle, scrubbing the carpets & removing the center console. I did sand the center console after tapping off the wood grain trim, and painted the scuffed up interior console top pieces a semi-gloss black. If you shop for one of these used Denali's from a dealership, you would probably find the main dash console and center pieces, scuffed up and missing the original gray overcoat that was placed on them. It turned out nice. All of the interior light bulbs besides the 6 manual interior dome lights, were changed out to a red light. So when you open the car doors at night, you get a ride glow inside of the vehicle. The tow bar was removed from the vehicle as well the spare tire. I cleaned up the spare tire for there was a birds nest inside of it, and I did scruff up the tow bar. In doing that, I threw some semi gloss black paint on it. Before, it was a rusty old tow bar. That is back on the vehicle with a new finish to it. The engine has no leaks, and the spark plugs have been recently changed out. Brake pads appear to be new and the air filter is new. If you have a boat and or jet ski that needs to be towed, this vehicle can do it. The Denali has 3 rows of seating and a power sunroof that opens. The vehicle is equiped with on-star & heated seats in the first two rows of seating. There are plently of cup holders and the drivers seat is powered with 2 memory settings tp it. If you like vehicles and the power that can bring, this is one for you. Not only on the inside of the vehicle, but the actual function of the 6.0L Engine. This Denali is 8 years old and it has some years of wear and tear that are evident on it. There is nothing majorly wrong mechanically. The front bumper has two small crack towards the bottom of it. When you look at it from 10 feet away, you can not tell that is has two small cracks in it. The drivers side mirror is heated on the vehicle, and something went out in the heated mirror function which caused part of it to heat up and crack. The glass itself in the housing of the mirror, is cracked. There are a couple of things out of the ordinary, and the back interior hatch of the vehicle has been painted black. There are also a few other pieces of the interior plastics that have been painted black. They look good to me. A few pieces of plastic broke and were disguarded in the process, but nothing major. It is going to be a great vehicle if you happen to like these types of SUV's. Title is an Illinois Title and it needs to be transfered into a Missouri title, for I have moved to Missouri. I would like somebody to buy it in Missouri and take the title before this current insurance policy ends on July 18th, 2010. I have not smoked inside of this vehicle and I do not believe that the previous owner was a smoker either. Send a message if you would like to see it in person!
