Vehicle Detail

1979 Chevy Blazer for sale. Runs excellent. I bought it used in 1995 and drove it daily until 1999 during which time I started making some modifications to it. It has sat in my garage since then, although I take it out several times each summer to hit the mud hole and the hills. I am selling it mainly to make more room and because I feel someone will get as much enjoyment out of it as I have. This truck will go just about through anything or over anything. Check it out climbing a small steep hill: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K1RTk_TXZ-M Here are the good points: It has about a 4" lift kit and 35"x12.5" BF Goodrich Mud Terrains which only have about 1000 miles on them. The rear end is a 12 bolt with a Detroit Locker, front is a 10 bolt with a Auburn Limited Slip. The factory 3.08 gears have been changed to 4.10's. It has Selecto front hub lock outs. Transfer case is a NP203 and has 2 HI, 4 HI, N, 2LO, and 4LO with about 5000 miles on it. Transmission is a Turbo 350 with a shift kit and was rebuilt about the same time as the transfer case and the axles. Longer stainless steel brake lines have been added front and rear. I removed the front sway bar for increased articulation and added Rancho shocks. The engine is a Chevy 350 which I haven't really modified other than an Accel HEI Super Coil and headers. It has a Quadrajet 4 barrel carb. I have a softtop which is in very good condition. I have the back seat which currently isn't installed. I have the balance of the leaf spring bushings that I ordered in a kit and only installed up front. Now for the not so good: I am pretty sure there isn't a panel on the truck without dents (except for maybe the tailgate). There is evidence of rust around the fenders, but the frame is in good condition and overall it is a solid truck (it was originally a Florida truck). The brakes are going to need some work; probably new calipers since it sat for so long. They do work, but I think the front left is sticking. One of the mufflers has corrosion at the bottom of it which causes the existing metal on it to vibrate. The windshield has a crack in it on the passenger side. The battery is pretty much dead and will require a new one. Please contact me with any questions or feel free to stop by to take a look.
