Up for auction is a 1993 Volvo 240 Sedan - The one you've been waiting for !! 1993 was the LAST YEAR of production for the 240....this car is in pristine cosmetic condition and fantastic mechanical condition.Car runs great, has been exceptionally maintained is built sold and is fun to drive. No Reserve. My wife and I bought two newVolvo 240's in 1993 a Wagon (which I recently sold on ebay), and now I'm listing our Sedan. I'm sad to see them go. ONE OWNER we have owned this car since October 1993 we bought this car from the dealer, it was a dealer demo and we have babied this car ever since. Oil has been changed religiously every three thousand miles, we have had it professionally detailed (in & out) twice a year, every year. It has been maintained by our honest and trustworthy mechanic the entire time. Our mechanic owns Volvos himself and has always used top of the line parts for any and all repairs. It runs smooth, does not leak oil etc. it is a pleasure to drive. My wife and I both work 10 minutes from home so over the years it has been gently used, comes from a non-smoking home. This handsome car is rare not only for its amazing condition but because of its BLACK interior....for years I have kept my eye out for other 1993 White Sedans with Black interiors, there are hardly any. I can tell you that 99% of the time the White 1993 240's all have blue interiors. Please note...the photos below of the interior have a slight green cast from the daylight coming through the green leaves that is not the correct color it is really a medium-dark gray fabric on the seats with black interior trim. (((((((( No Dings No Dents In The Paint....I'm the guy who for 17 years parked at the back of the parking lot )))))))))The interior of the car is super clean & beautiful, the ALL-WEATHER floor matts have protected the carpet from day-one including the trunk carpeting, it is spotless protected by the trunk liner. Upholstery is in perfect condition none of the seats are ripped or torn. Headliner is intact & clean, we are Volvo purists, we have never put a bumper sticker or decal on this car everything is stock as it should be from the factory including the radio (orig. radio code card included) This car has gotten an excellent score with ebay's AutoCheck!!!! I Here are the only minor flaws with the car....rear red lenses have minor cracks (see photo) this is easily replaceable. Front "Volvo" emblem fell off of the front grill again, cosmetic and replaceable. Very minor 2" crack on top of dash where the right defroster is. The trip meter stopped working recently so my mechanic replaced a gear in the mechanism, now it works but it clicks as it spins around. There might be other nice "LOOKING" 1993 Volvo 240 Sedans out there, however you don't know how well they have been cared for over the years by Multiple Owners, what abuse they might have seen or lack of maintenance.
