Up for auction is my personal 1980 professionally restored AMC Jeep CJ Golden Eagle. I spent 3 yrs restoring this vehicle back to as close to original as possible using NOS parts or product upgrades where needed. The jeep has 900 miles on restoration that was completed about 2 yrs ago. I will list as many of the basic features that come to mind but please don't hesitate to contact me with more specific questions. The Jeep runs and drives excellent for a 80 Jeep...tracks very straight for a CJ 5. Transmission and transfer case work just as they should. All gauges work and are original AMC Jeep gauges with exception of the fuel gauge that works sometimes (probably a ground) but I don't have the time to fix the problem. All lights and turn signals work as they should. Now for some of the Jeep specs Paint-Original Dark brown metallic, new full set of Golden Eagle decals Denim Tan interior, original highback seats front & back (recovered), complete factory style carpet kit (mass back) not glued or fixed in. The jeep was also herculined. Denim Jeep dash pad in excellent condition (no cracks), denim visors. Nos Whitco denim roll bar cover. Original Jeep console. New NOS Bestop full factory soft top with full view windows...glass is clear and all zippers intact. Also comes with a Bestop tan bikini top and a full cab cover. rebuilt 258 6cyl runs great, good compression. New Weber carb with fuel regulator. Most all the engine parts were replaced during restoration as was the suspension, drivetrain, exhaust system T176 4speed transmission with dana 300 transfer case. Wheels are 15x8 Cragar with the beadloc look on Cooper 32 11.50 all terrain tires...complete set of 5. If you have any questions please feel free to contact me by email.
