This 1966 Ford Mustang Convertible has the six cylinder engine and an automatic transmission. It has a fresh tune-up, carb rebuilt, new brakes, and it runs and drives excellent. The power convertible top is in fantastic condition and goes up and down easily. It also has the boot to cover the top when it is down. The interior is in like new condition, the seats, carpet, door panels, dash are all in outstanding condition. The car had heavy rust proofing put on it many years ago and it kept the body in pretty solid condition, most of the floor is solid, the trunk is very clean and looks like new, the quarters are original, doors and fenders are in good shape. The rear floor area has been repaired with metal where the rear rails come down. The shock towers under the hood are totaly rust free. The front floor pan is in very nice condition. The paint job shines nice and looks excellent going down the road or from a few feet away. However it is driver quality only and would need some attention to be a show piece. The bumpers, as well as much of the other chrome trim pieces, are brand new and look great. The tires are close to new with well over 3/4 tread on them. I have driven all over the place in the car and would not hesitate to drive any distance without worry.
