Here is the story on how I got the car... I went to a IRS auction in Utah a few years back to pick up a early porsche 930 with a blown up motor, that car ended up going way to high. I didn't want to leave empty handed, this Chevelle stood out. I didn't know the guy that I was bidding against was the original owners son. Had I known... I tried to sell it back to sell it back to them but the irs got everything . So, the story that I got was that. The owner's father had bought him this car brand new in 1971. It was a daily driver for a some years and then put on ice. Then he built it as you see it but with a high output 454 Big Block, he could not get the tires to hookup at the track so the motor went into a tubbed 69 Chevelle. The original 402 (he and his brother rebuilt) went back into the car and they added the blower and here it is. I have driven the car maybe 20 times since I have bought it. I just brought it out at the good guys summer round up here in Norther California.
