Up for sale is a 1978 FJ40. The vehicle came originally from Texas in 2003 when I purchased it. Since I have fixed ALL kinds of crap on it and never drive it. 2k miles in8 years. It is is decent shape with no frame rot at all and minor things on body. Maaco paint last year. Ihas or has had the following: New header and exhaust year or so ago New clutch, pressure plate, t/o bearing, clutch master cylinder, rear shocks, gas tank, electric fuel pump, rear disc brake conversion with proportioning valve and brake lines, Bestop Black Denim Top and doors and a bunch of other odds and ends. Also has Chevy power steering, 4 point harness, rollbar, bucket seats, new fuse box. 16.5 American Racing wheels (9.75 wide) and 38.5 swamper tires with plenty of tread. Winch on, but not wired up. It needs a windshield, but useable the way it is. A few bullseye marks are tolerable when you neve drive it. Drives as well as a FJ40 does with 38s on it. Everything works still. Email with questions. Runs and drives and is registered now. You can drive away if need be. I would love to keep it, but it doesn't make sense anymore.
