Normal 0 false false false MicrosoftInternetExplorer4 This is a 2001 Yellow 4x4 Jeep Cherokee that I’m selling…this little baby is my pride and joy and by far has been the best vehicle I have ever owned! The absolute only reason I’m selling this Jeep is because my finances are tight right now, and I could really use the money. If that weren’t the case, I would be holding on to this gem for a while! It is worth every bit that I’m asking for it…so please no other offers outside of what the bidding is. I am actually the 3rd owner of this Jeep…I’ll be straight up and start telling you the few things I would recommend getting done to the Jeep if it sells, or if I were going to keep it… 1) I would have the front rotors either turned a little or just replaced…while driving down the road anywhere from 50 to 60 mph if you apply the brake the jeep shakes a bit from side to side…this is most likely a warped rotor that needs to either be changed or turned. If you know much about cars, this is an inexpensive fix of probably $125. Not a big deal at all… 2) Since the vehicle has 63k miles on it, it’s probably due for a slight alignment which again is an inexpensive cost…It is by NO means in immediate need of one, just something I would probably do if monies were available. 3) One common bug with all the jeeps around this year and model is that the driver side window’s motor will have a tendency to sputter as the window is going down…I have not really looked into how much it would cost to replace or fix the windows motor, but again the window STILL WORKS FINE and goes up and down like normal. It just sputters as it goes down sometimes…just another thing I would have eventually wanted to change if I were keeping it. Outside of what I have listed above, there are ABSOLUTELY NO OTHER DEFECTS to this Jeep!!! I know the one big question everyone is wondering about is “what kind of accident was the jeep in?” ***Being that I’m the 3rd owner of this Jeep I had no idea that it had been in an accident until I had listed it the first time on ebay…according to the carfax, it said light or moderate damage had occurred to the rear of the vehicle. I have absolutely no specifics on this accident You would have never known this vehicle had had an accident if you drove it…there is no damage to the frame whatsoever and it rides like a dream!!!*** Now let’s get to the good stuff!!! I’ll tell you first off I have NEVER had the check engine light come on, and this vehicle has been maintained faithfully with oil changes every 3k miles, and rotation and balancing every other oil change! Like I said this car is my baby!!! All power functions, beside the driver window listed above, work flawlessly…Absolutely no rips or tears in any of the seats…they have been kept in mint condition. The body of the vehicle contains the everyday road wear that every vehicle gets…small nick or ding here or there. There are only two small dents on the vehicle that I can find…I tried taking a pic of them to list but they wouldn’t even show up on the camera if that tells you anything. Just so you know this color yellow may not show up too well for the pics, but it is a canary yellow, and it is a factory paint job. I have NEVER gone “off roading” with the Jeep, and I’m almost for certain that the gentleman I bought it from, didn’t mistreat it either…He cared very well for this jeep just as I do. Here is a list of the standard features of this 2001 Cherokee: 1) Very strong running I6 4.0L engine (15-17mpg city / 20-22mpg highway) 2) Automatic trans. 3) Fog lights 4) Power doors, windows, locks etc… 5) Cruise control 6) AM/FM radio and CD/Cassette player 7) CommandTrac 4X4 system (which I have tested and it does work flawlessly) Here is a list of customizations that have been applied to the Jeep: 1) 20” Rubicon wheels2) Yokohama Tires (The tires have only about 15K miles on them. Still lots of life left!) 3) Tinted windows 4) Dei 514n Viper Soft Chirp Siren Clifford Python Alarm 5) Tow Package (I’m almost positive this is not a factory tow package) 6) 2” lift kit (it is not currently installed on the Jeep) 7) DANA 35 LIMITED SLIP REAR AXLE!!! (This is a nice little plus that adds great stability in wet road situations.
