1972 Mercury Comet GT. This is a real Comet GT. 302, C-4 automatic with AC. The car sat inside of a garage for 12 years before I bought it. It has been sitting in my garage for over three years and with other projects it has been on the back burner so instaed of letting it sit more she needs to go to a good home. Body is very solid. Floor pans, frame rails, quarter panels everything is solid. The only exception is the passenger fender which has a rust hole but I have a clean fender that will go with the car. Car starts right up and runs but will need a tune up. Has AC but will need charged. Brakes need to be gone through before driving. It won't take much to get this car back on the road. Very solid original car. Last owner repainted her without the GT stripes and replaced the grill with a non GT grill. The Marti report shows this is a real GT which are getting very hard to come by.
