This is the first car driven by Marcello Canitano (owner/driver SHR) after he attended SCCA driving schools in 1992. The car, owned and maintained by Joe Botti of Malabar Exxon would make a good school car, or could be restored to run in the vintage category, or even returned to IT competition! (Although this isn't recommended given the scarcity of replacement body components at this point in time.) In any case, the car does run and drive, but expect to put in some work prior to racing this car, as it has been "hiding" in the shop for some time. It has always been garaged, and while she may be a little older than some of the cars out there, she still can give them a run for the money. When raced competitively, it was a consistent top-10 car, garnering many top-5 finishes back when IT fields in the SE were over 30 deep. In addition to the car, be prepared to bring a large truck to carry all the spare parts that will be included with this purchase.
