It has gray leather/wood interior, and many luxury options and safety features, including Monsoon Premium Sound System (You will love this!), Tiptronics 5-speed automatic transmission, Anti-slip regulation (ASR), 6-Disc changer, and side airbags. I am the original owner of this car, and I am not a smoker. I am parting with this car because my company is sending me to a foreign country for an extended assignment. This is a new body style ("New Passat"--some 2001 models have the old body style). The mileage is low; the odometer reads just over 83,000 miles. Most of these miles are freeway miles, and the car has been maintained very well. It looks like a brand new car in a showroom, and runs like a brand new car. The paint/exterior is flawless (We all know that Audi/Volkswagen has the best painting job). Please see the photo and see it yourself. Passat has been a very popular car, and has a great reputation as one of the safest and fun-to-drive cars. In fact, New Passat was awarded as the best family sedan in 2001-2004. In particular, the 2001 model was heralded as the best sedan by many car magazines. This car does not have any mechanical/electrical problem I am aware of, and I've recently did many important jobs, including: New Transmission (done by a dealership under warranty in March, 2010): The transmission is always a major concern for a used car buyer, but you don't have to worry about it as you have a new transmission!) Replaced engine value gaskets (done by a dealership under warranty in March, 2010) New catalytic converter (done by a dealership under warranty in 2008): This is another big ticket item that is a concern of a used car buyer. You don't have to worry about it! New oxygen censors and temperature censor As you can see, the most costly potential issues have been all addressed recently, and this car is in great mechanical & electrical condition. Not to mention that it looks great. It also passed the California emission test last fall without any problem. I get constant 20-22+ MPG (freeway + city driving) even now.
