Up for auction is a 1965 Ford Mustang with a rebuilt 302, automatic transmission and loaded with options. This a very clean classic that was painted about 9 months ago, and turns heads all over town. She sports a new interior, lots of new parts, and is a great daily driver! This is a California car, and I do have the original Black Plates that belong to the car. The body of the car is very straight, and has it's original sheet metal also. There is NO RUST issues with this car at all!! She is rock solid! The nice thing is she has DISC brakes up front. The car is a very solid Daily Driver, and she does have some blemishes here and there that I will cover. The best thing about the car is NO RESERVE!! VIN: 5R07C176693 ENGINE / TRANS: The engine is a freshly rebuilt 302, that was bored .030 over, and has like 10 miles on her since it was installed. The motor was done right, replacing everything with new parts, not recondition stuff. There was a mild cam installed also. The heads recieved hardened valve seats to handle unleaded gas also. The motor was built to stock specs and she runs great!Of course she doesn't leak any fluids, no smoking no knocking but, she will need to be broken in still. The motor has new wires, cap, rotor, fuel pump, water pump, new oil pump and rod too, new valve covers, and the best thing is she has AC!! I do have receipts for the rebuild also. The transmission is a smooth shifting C4 automatic that works just fine. She was rebuilt about 3 years ago, and I don't see any signs leaks on her either. The rear end has the stock gears , which were 2:80's I believe. INTERIOR/ EXTERIOR: The interior has lots of new parts in there. The carpet is new, the door panels are new, kick panels are new, new shifter plate and rod. The headliner is gone, but I have a new one in the box to send with the car. The seats are in great shape with no rips or tears, they were redone about a year ago and show very well. The windows all roll up and down just fine, and the glass is in ok shape. The windshield does have some pitting though. The dash bezel is in ok shape, and the dash has some cracks but I have a new dash cover on her. The OIL and ALT light work, as well as the gas gauge, temp, and speedometer. The lights all work on the car but, I can't get the left blinker to work, and the right works sometimes. I believe the problem is in the turn signal cam?? The weather stripping is ok at best, as it could be changed, I forgot the sunvisors are new also. The radio is not hooked up, and is more for show, as the dash has never been cut! The exterior was painted about 9 months ago and shows well. There are a few small chips and blemishes as she is a driver. The car has 3 brand new tires, and one that is in decent shape. The chrome overall is in good shape. There are two small holes on each fender near the mustang emblem where some one had put a cobra emblem in the past. They are small but noticable up close. The body lines are very good all the way around the car, and the body is very solid. There are NO RUST issues at all.. the trunk is solid, the torque boxes are solid, the shock towers are solid, and the floor pans look fine also. INFO: The car is a very, very nice daily driver type car. The car is NOT perfect, but it’s 45 years old also. Please know this before bidding. On Jun-11-10 at 12:05:56 PDT, seller added the following information: I have had a few questions about RUST, there is no rust on the car at all... the picture of the rear quarter panel that appears to be rust bubbles is just a reflection in the paint.
