vehicle is in good overall condition inside & out. no major body damage just typical dings for a vehicle of this year. the engine runs strong & does not burn oil. issue #1 the vehicle has been sitting for a long period & was recently used for a few months, in the last few weeks the check engine light has come on. the code is p0420, this code is typically for a bad reading from an O2 sensor...long story short the cat conv seems ok, it does not get red hot when idleing & is not restricting flow nor does it make any ratteling noise when hit with a rubber hammer.....more than likely a new o2 sensor should resolve the issue (check the subaru forums to confirm what im saying, these guys seem to think you need an oem front O2 & can use an aftermarket for the rear O2) issue #2 power steering leaking slowly from one of the lines behind the motor (not sure exactly where or which line) works fine & rarely needs fluid added but will groan a bit at times like there is air in it, usually after it sits a few days or more. bonus#1 transmission was overhauled within the last year & has very few miles on it. bonus #2 (see bonus #1) everything else works properly on the car all power windows seats air condition brakes & tires are good, exhaust, suspension axles all have no problems. the winner of this auction should expect a vehicle that needs a bit of attention but is all there for the most part & can/has been driven in its current condition for the last few months. selling this car to make room in the driveway, tired of shuffeling cars & dont really need an extra car. good luck!!!
