We bought this car off of E-bay about one year ago, due to back surgery we cannot finish it. This is a very restorable car, some body work has been started. Both rear quarters have been replaced, one is finished, the other has been fitted and tack welded in place. The area in front of the wheel wells will need to be repaired. There is slight body damage to the left rear area where the tailight housing bolts to, next to the trunk lid it's nothing major. The left front fender has body work started and will need to be finished, the right looks ok. The hood has surface rust, but nothing causing pits. A second hood will go with car, it has slight damage to the nose that needs fixed. Didn't see any rust in it. Both doors have rust through in lower corners inside & outside of door. We do have extra doors to go with the car, they are repairable with little to no rust. The drivers door had the worst damage by the door handle area. The passenger side has some small dings. The trunk lid has has surface rust that has been primed over, so we don't know what shape it is in. It does have some small dents, but we have two other trunk lids to go with the car(not the greatest). The worst rust out in the car is in the trunk pan and rear floor pans. Both are available on E-bay.The front floor pans and rocker panels are in good shape. All the glass is unbroken, it does have glass in the rear window of convertable top. We did try to operate the top, and it tried to work but we stopped so we did not damage it. It will need the top material replaced. The front door panels are there,but probably not usable. The rest will need to redone. The emblems are missing, the bumpers are usable as daily drivers. The grill is in great shape. The front headlight bezels need to be replaced, one is cracked and the other is scratched. The tailight housings are bad, but the lenses look good. There may be other trim items missing. The engine is a 352 4 barrel, it does run but has a bent pushrod that needs to be replaced. The transmission is an automatic that moves the car forward and back. We have not ran the vehicle long due to old hoses and tuneup needing done. We did not get car up to operating temp.but it sounds good. The exhaust sytem looks in good shape, might need gasket replaced. It will need a complete brake job-no brakes. It does have power brakes and power steering. The tires are in good shape, but weather-cracked. Good for shop use. The paperwork is in our name, ready to sign over to you. I have described the car to the best of my knowledge, any questions please e-mail. Ask any questions the day before the auctions ends so I can respond before auction ends. This car is sold as is- no warranty-no returns. The car will have to be trailered. We do not deliver. You will have to arrange for pick up of the vehicle. I cannot assist in loading because of bad back. The car does run and should pull itself up a trailer, but no quarantees. This a no reserve auction, I am starting it out at what I have in it. The paperwork shows mileage to be 10177000, but it could be higher. We don't know if the speedometer works.
