1972 Volvo 1800ES You are bidding on a very nice example of a beautiful classic car. Those of you who are bidding know the history behind these fine looking automobiles, so I won't bore you with that. This car is not perfect, what 38 year old car is? But it is in very nice shape with a major restoration done in the late 80's and some work done more recently. I have owned this car for 4 years now and I don't know the exact history of it, but I do have pictures of the restoration and it appears to have been done properly with 4 new quarter panels and rocker panels from Sweden. It has been in storage for much of the time since then, and always kept in a garage. The front seats have been recently done in black leather New muffler, custom headers, new battery, fuel pump, sports shocks and springs from IPD, new ignition wiring set, new injectors, new brake pads, rear brake calliper and some brake lines. The engine gaskets and seals have been done. New fan clutch installed. The chrome is in great shape, and all the glass is too, no cracks or chips in any windows. The tailgate shocks work well. The hood insulator kit is in rough shape, new ones are available for about $100. The paint is still good but there are some minor chips and scratches, there is no rust. The tachometer works well, but the speedometer does not, it was working when I got the car. The radio is original AM/FM and works well. The water temp and fuel gauge work, the oil pressure partially works, and the oil temp gauge and original clock do not work. All in all, this is very nice looking car, this is definitely a daily driver. Feel free to email me for more info. Car is sold "As Is - Where Is" with no warranty written or implied.
