He started a couple of years ago collecting parts and chopped the cab 6 inches. The frame is all custom built 2x3 3/16 tube chasis that is VERY WELL built. It has a Ford 9 inch rear end. The engine is a 1979 454 Chevrolet Big Block out of a 1 ton truck. It also has the 400 transmission from the same truck. The engine and transmission are good the donor truck ran and drove good before it was removed. The engine can be started now and sounds WICKED from the custom built headers.The motor mounts are big block Chevy rods doubled and welded. The driveshaft is in the truck. The rear suspension isbuggy spring with trailing arms and air bags. The bed is also 40 Ford that has been shortened to 4 foot and has the V-8 tailgate. It has a split wishbone front end. The wheels are 36 Ford wire wheels that are in good shape with new Coker 600 bias ply tires (no miles) cost near 1000.00 for the tires. I have several other parts and a couple grille shells that go with it. A set of short van seats that were going to be used and a aluminum radiator. The parts are pictured. This is well built and will need work to be finished the brakes are not started and the steering is not finished. The car will roll and load easy but is VERY LOW. There is no way to recoop all of the cost in just matierials not counting labor that has been put into this truck. He works fulltime and has a family and not enough time to finish and asked me to sell it for him. I do not have a title for the truck but will assist in getting a title if needed. The cab has a VIN number and can be used to get a title I can do this for the buyer for 50.00 if interested.
