Vehicle Detail

Apologies to those who have been watching this item in my previous auction. I had a gas saving car being held, so I was auctioning off my truck, but it was sold out from under me, so I chose not to sell and raised the price to a crazy number, but now I have found a new car, so the truck that I absolutely love must go. My loss is your gain. The mileage is 300 higher than the dash photo because I drive 45 miles each way to work daily. Yes, this 1988 Toyota 4x4 has only 75,305 original miles on it. It has the original 22re engine, auto tranny (great for rock climbing if you want to make a off road truck) combo that will last 300,000 miles, so you could probably drive this truck 20 years. It has a fiberglass bed that I painted myself, and it has runs in the paint. Looks great from 20 ft away, but if you want to restore this truck to showroom, you would want to block it out and repaint a few areas. I rough sanded and primed it before painting, so it will stick, no worries. I have paint, hardner, and reducer that go with the truck. Also, I am going to try and make it look good better this week. I will update the add if I get it to where it won't need repainted. I have invested exactly $5350 into this truck because I love the old YOTA pickups and wanted one that was in tip top shape. Paid $1900 for the truck, another $450 to get it home from PA, bought a fiberglass bed (Yes, the ones that sell for $2000 online), new shocks all around, new exhaust, new front calipers and pads, new lower control arms, new bushings, new outer tie rod ends, new sway bar links, a salvage yard rear bumper, new tires all around (Now have 2600 miles on them), fresh oil change, radiator flush and fill, new battery, new alternator, fresh alignment. Runs and drives out great. I also have a set of clear altezza taillights that go with it. What it needs: The fuel pump is run off a toggle switch on the dash. Never got around to hooking it up to the contact block, so you have to flip it on before starting the truck. The bed needs repainted if it bugs you. The front fenders have a VERY SMALL amount of rust on them. There are 2 spots on the hood that need patches. I drive it every day 45 miles each way to work, so it is fine to drive now as it is. No leaks, no issues mechanically. I would not hesitate to drive this truck cross country, so YES, you can drive it home. This is a no reserve auction, so bid to win. The truck is for sale locally, so at any time BEFORE THE FIRST BID, I may sell the truck and cancel the auction. Once it has one bid, I will no longer sell it locally, so if you bid, and you are the high bidder, you will win. It would cost about $7500-$8000 to buy this truck and have all the work done to it that I did to get it roadworthy, IF you can even find one of these flare body Toyota trucks with only 75k miles elsewhere, WHICH I DOUBT. Took me 9 months to find this one, and then we moved and I needed a good gas car. Will I accept Paypal so you can use your credit card to buy this truck? Yes, but I prefer cash. I am not listing paypal, you will have to send me a paypal payment, wait for it to clear the bank, then come pick up the truck. I will also require a notarized purchase agreement. If you have a friend or family member with paypal, send them the payment, wait for it to clear, and have them withdrawal cash for you. It would be much easier that way, but I will work with you. I am fair. If you are the winning bidder and this truck is not exactly as I describe it, I will release you from your obligation, but please ask questions, and please feel free to come to North Baltimore and kick the tires before you bid. I need the money, so I really want it to work out. If you arrange shipping, I will help however I can. However, I will not allow your cousin Urkel to come pick it up with a personal check, so please don't waste both our time it you are a scammer. You can email me directly at jacobachristopher@yahoo.com with questions for a faster response, but questions asked through EBAY will be answered too. However, if you email me directly, it goes to my phone, so I will probably reply faster. The fiberglass tonneau on the truck is off a 7' Ranger, so it doesn't fit quite right, but it was cut and hinged, so it is fully functional, and if you like it, I do have a key for the lock on it, so you could put in a piece of angle and lock it instead of the cotter pins I use. If you don't like it, it comes off pretty easily. Bid with confidence, this is a great truck. I hate to sell it, but I need 30-35 MPG and enough cash to pay some bills, so it has to go. I am a fair person, and will work with you however necessary.
