The body of the car is in amazing condition for it's age, it does have minor flaws, but it is 100% original, the paint has some crazing from the engine heat on the hood. The interior is in good condition for it's age, the radio has been replaced, the gas gauge does not work (come with new sending unit still in box), odometer reads 81,000+ not sure if it's accurate, but it works. Wipers do not work, windshield fluid pump works, but hoses need to be replaced. Head light motors work, but drivers side is a little troublesome at times (just needs to be adjusted). All exterior lights work and most of the interior ones do too. Rides a little rough as it could use new front struts. Front bumper has an odd spot on the passenger side where someone spray painted a spot on it. This is a 30 year old British car! Be aware, these are very temperamental cars, they have odd quirks and this one is no exception. It currently idles a little high, can decide not to start when it's hot (replaced the coil and have not had a problem recently), has a slow drain on the battery (just put in new battery). And of course it leaks fluid, mainly from the transmission. Has new plugs, plug wires, rotor, distributor cover. The top is ok, has a crack in the rear window, but I have never run the car in the rain or with the top up Interior of trunk look like new, no rust on the body, and is very little under the car, the floor pans are in great condition! I don't want to sound like I'm try to talk people out of buying this car, but also do not want someone to buy it and expect it to not act like, or be, a British "sports car". Car is a total blast to drive...if you have the time and desire to put up with a British automobile with a Lucas wiring system. Comes with Official Triumph service manual and a Hanes Repair Manual, and two boxes of extra parts.
