Get a jump on summer with this one. I've had a lot of fun with this 1957 Porsche Speedster Replica over the last few years. Be prepared for a lot of attention every time you get behind the wheel. The original owner/builder passed away in the 1990's and it sat until I purchased and ultimately finished it a few years ago. It's a Fiberfab Speedster "C" titled as a "2006 Homebuilt" with a state issued VIN. The Speedster has a black top, tonneau, and a 1600 dual port engine. There are a few items I haven't gotten around to installing--gold speedster emblems, side curtains, and heater accordion tubes. There is even a temporary spare that fits under the hood--something most replicas don't have. All lights and gauges work with the sole exception of the fuel gauge. Ive recently installed a Monza-style exhaust. The body is in a black gel coat that shines up beautifully but I've always toyed with the idea of painting it silver. The combination with the maroon interior would be striking. It's been driven less that 1000 miles since completion--I just don't have time to enjoy this beauty and I can't justify keeping her only for the occasional car show or cruise.
