This is a 1974 Ford C8000 Crew Cab Fire Truck. Has a Ford V8 225, 1160 CATERPILLAR Diesel Engine with 20,235 miles, 5-speed manual transmition. NEW10.00R20 Firestone tires, T559 front and T546 rear Radials with only 1500 miles on them. Break system is Air with front and rear tanks. Has a 153" WB and 27,500lbs Max G.V.W. Truck has a Pierce bed with Waterous 1000 gpm pumper that works great and is strong. NO RUST, all compartments are in good shape. Would make great truck for fire dept or someone looking for a back up truck. I bought as a project truck for me and my son and have been taking it to cruse-ins and other car showes. Truck was retired as city truck and only used for local parks fire truck. Truck was broke into, control box for lights and siren were stolen and both windshields were busted, Illiana Truck Parts has both windshields for $75.00.
