It started out as a bone stock bug.The factory steel fenders was cut to give it the Baja look without worrying about busting the fiber glass fenders in the woods. The rear apron was removed to expose the engine and new Heavy Duty Baja bumper installed with 4 Quick D-clip's to remove the bumper in seconds. The floor pans was rusted out in the normal spots, but the holes was patched with sheet metal. Also installed the tree guards and the tube front bumper. The headlights are custom 7 inch JDM light's with full 8,500W HID conversion. The tail light's are custom clear red LED light bars. New exhaust, rally rear view mirror, way to much to list. Just Look at the pics... This Bug runs drives, and stop's great. I have been using it as a daily driver for the past few months. It turns heads where ever you go. You cannot stop anywhere without a flock of people coming over to check it out. It is truly a one of a kind. The large back tires (31x10.50 R15) on a 10 inch wheel was installed to see if they would fit. They clear good but will need some new tires. They are not on the car right now cause they take to much power for every day driving. They are part of the deal though. The paint on the car is old but still has a shine. I was going to paint the car but I became fond of the rustic look. This is not a show car but it is a fun car to drive around town, or to take to the trails and make the Jeepers mad, cause this little car will go anywhere.
