Up for auction is a 1993 Volvo 240 Wagon - The one you've been waiting for !! 1993 was the last year of production for the 240....this car is in pristine cosmetic condition and fantastic mechanical condition.Car runs great, has been exceptionally maintained is built sold and is fun to drive. No Reserve. ONE OWNER.....my wife and I bought this car brand new, we drove it off of the showroom floor and have babied this car ever since. Oil has been changed religiously every three thousand miles, we have gotten it professionally detailed (in & out) twice a year, every year. It has has been maintained by our honest and trustworthy mechanic the entire time. Our mechanic owns Volvos himself and has always used top of the line parts for any and all repairs. My wife and I both work 10 minutes from home so over the years it has been gently used. (((((((( No Dings No Dents !!!! A Non-Smoking Car )))))))))The interior of the car is beautiful, all weather floor matts have protected the carpet from day-one including the rear cargo carpeting, it is spotless protected by the cargo liner. Heated front seats work great, upholstery is in perfect conditionnone of the seats are ripped or torn. Dashboard does not have any cracks as often found in older model Volvos, Headliner it is clean and in tact no rips. We are Volvo purists, we have never put a bumper sticker or decal on this car everything is stock as it should be from the factory except the Sony replacement radio with CD. This car has gotten a TOP SCORE with ebay's AutoCheck ranked 36 out of 35, however......it says it was in an accident in 2008, not true....this was repair work to the roof of the car as a very small branch fell on the roof and made a minor dent. I reported it to our insurance company and it was repaired. I have invested a lot of money maintaining this car to our high standards and the winner of this auction will reap the benefit. The only minor flaws with this car are, a few inches of exterior black rear window tape have slightly peeled away, this is cosmetic and can easily be replaced. (see photo) The rear windshield wiperstopped working last year. There was a very minor small 3" indentation, on the edge of the roof this was repaired and as a result there is now a slight discoloration on the roof where the paint & clear coat are.
