1970 Mustang Mach 1 Do you like attention? This 40 year old pony, unlike many that have gone on to the glue factory long ago, has been reborn. Being the true horse-lover that I am, I felt obligated to lead her to water and make her drink....and drink she did. In quick response, her heart was renewed, her hooves repaired and everything between her shiny new teeth to her curvaceous new rear was taken care of. Now she boasts the fight of 400+ horses, nays like a lion and runs faster than Secretariat. I think the loving care of a true horse-lover has done her justice. She remains comfortable and proud whether inside her stable or out showing off to the joy and amazement of all who are lucky enough to see her. She turns heads every second she is out running in the sun. Garage kept and under cover in a smoke free environment. Taken out for shows, parades and fundraising events, only if it’s dry and sunny. The cars original years were spent in the dry west U.S.A. The odometer states 58,769 but I don't believe that to be accurate. Mileage on her title is exempt. However, I do know that since her work this past year, including the new top end, she has had approximately 2,000 miles put on her, if that. Within the last year, over $50,000 has been spent on her. Current economic turn-down has forced me to sadly relinquish some of my toys, and this one is tough to see go. 1970 has always been my favorite year for muscle cars since childhood. I’m hoping someone that is more fortunate in these times is able to take care of her for generations to come, she deserves it.
