You are bidding on a 1996 Dodge Ram P/U Laramie SLT V8 Magnum, 4x4, Class 2. Extended cab. The truck is red with tan cloth interior. Truck has P/S, P/B, P/L, CC, AC, tilt steering wheel and radio/CD player. Also the rear window is a slider, rear bench seat, ram cutout window louvers on back side windows, which are very eye-catching. A class 3 Reese hitch was installed about a year ago which was used only once. A starter was installed a year ago and also some minor brake work was done. I have a rear cover for the bed of the truck which will be included in the sale. Installed on the engine was a K&N Filter Charger injection performance kit. This truck also comes with an owner's manual. Overall the exterior of the truck is in good condition. There are top lights on the cab, one bulb needs to be replaced. As you can see in the pictures, there is very little rust. Over the rear wheelwell there are two rust spots which again is shown in the pictures. On the bottom edge of the driver's door there is also a small amount of rust. Tires are in decent shape with some tread left. The front driver's tire has a slow leak but I believe that is from sitting for almost 8 months. There is a bedliner in the back of the truck. The brake light cover on the rear passenger's side will probably need to be replaced, there was tape holding it in position previously, which has since come off. Interior of the truck is very good, just one small tear on the driver's seat as shown in the pictures. Only a few stains on the carpet of the floor. A/C might need charging, was working fine when last used. As for how the truck runs, it has been sitting for 8 months, the battery is dead but I jump-started it and the truck started right up. But the battery will not hold a charge, and will need to be replaced. The engine is powerful and runs smooth, no knocking or pinging. The truck does need some relatively minor work to be in great running condition. New brakes lines are needed because they leak. The brakes may need some work, but I think it's just the leaking brake lines that need replacing. The front axle on the driver's front 4x4 wheel drive is broken, it was removed, but not replaced. I have been using it as a 2 wheel drive with no issues. It will need to be replaced to use the truck in 4x4 again. Once fixed there should be no problem with the 4x4, it worked perfectly until that part broke. The ignition switch doesn't work but the truck can be started via its remote which works great, and is how I've been starting it with no issue. Transmission seems to be working fine. This is a powerful truck. There are some minor problems as I have stated above, but with a little bit of work you can have a great running truck. This truck is being sold AS IS! Buyer assumes all responsibility for transporting the truck, I insist that it be towed because of the leaking brake lines, and the fact that the truck has been sitting for 8 months.
