1954 Chevrolet 235 2 DR SEDAN This auction is for a ready to cherry out 1954 Chevy 2 door sedan. The car has the original 235 cubic inch six cylinder engine with powerglide three speed transmission on the column which are both in excellent condition. The engine does not leak one bit, fires every time with choke out & 3 pumps to the accelerator, and has the stock corporate rear end. The car runs and drives in perfect condition, cats new shocks give the car a smooth fluid ride, the brakes have been rebuilt, the floor pans are good. The body is about 90% ready for custom paint, all the body chrome has already been done. The car's new items include, taillight housings & lenses, heater core, parklight lenses, interior. The car was my father pet project for 5 years until he recently passed. Every nut & bolt is there for the car and labeled, he had over 10k in work done already. Body is straight with very minimal scratches, chrome mags, new tires, street legal, and registered, new water pump, carburator, upper end, and interior is in good condition if you're ready to cruise the classic upon arrival!! Please do not bother with such comments or complaints as it's not a 1954 ect... according to documents from chevrolet, it could of been built out in late 1953 but not sold until 1954. You can see the vin (B53) yet the title says 1954. If you want it, then it's for sale, otherwise we'll let it sit in the garage for a few more years and let it appreciate in value then sell it for a little more next time... skin or perhaps cruise it on the weekends and enjoy some car shows or drives along the coast...
