PLEASE READ BEFORE BIDDING OR TAKING THE BUY IT NOW. Running and driving Chevy short bed truck. This was part of a friend's father's estate. He was in the process of restoring it when he passed away. I will do my best to tell you what I know about it. It is a bare bones model with the 6 cyl engine (I am not sure the size of it) and a 3 speed manual on the column. It starts right up and runs smooth. The mileage listed is probably 151,000 or 251,000. The engine has an exhaust leak at the front of the manifold because there is a bolt broken off. The battery was recently replaced. The original radiator leaks on the bottom right side. The right front tire goes flat when sitting. It was originally a gold or bronze color and a previous owner had sprayed the cab and parts of the interior blue. As I stated, it will need restoration and there is rust in the bed and cab corners. Someone had already riveted a replacement rocker in on the driver side. The frame and suspension look solid. I drove it around the neighborhood and it seems to run ok, although the tires are old. I would recommend having it towed to avoid hassles. This would make a fabulous rat rod or restoration project. These short bed models seem to be very hard to come by and we all know how popular the 67-72 model Chevy trucks are. I am listing this with a low reserve so we can move it.
