Up for sale is my 1973 plymouth duster 440 prject car, im selling for personal family issues, The car was originally a slant 6 225ci. car. Now it has a 440 big block bolted in with a 727 trans hung behind it and a 83/4 rear in the back starters. The motor was purchased in Carlisle Pa and i was told it just under 60,000 miles on it, the person i bought it from rebuild the motor complete, all gaskets have been replaced including the head gaskets, the heads on it are the 452 mopar heads ( some of the better that were put on the 440's). It has a new comp capacity with a 510 lift in it with a brand new lifters., has new timing chain and gears, high velocity fuel and oil pump, new edelbrock 440 performer intake and a 750 double pumper duel feed holley carb wich may need to be rebuild or replaced,when i bought the car i turned the motor on and it runs and it sounds nasty, as far as i know about the rear he cut the perches and moved them in 2 inches to fit the car and repainted it, It had new studs in the axles already. The cast number on the rear is the 742 casting. As far as the rest of the car goes it does need body work, possibly quater panels lower half, the trunk may need floor pan, the floor boards are in good shape, some rust here and there and some dings but nothing to hard to repair. The interior is in plaid green in fair condition considering the year of the car, car is being sold as a project car and is-as-is, buyer responsible for pick up I have started to fix it but ran out of funds the engine bay is painted as u see in pictures and also i have painted the engine block also, email me with other questions.Check out my other items!
