1968 Barracuda Convertible - one of 920 built. 113,633 original miles. Engine professionally rebuilt at108,206 (2004). Mild cam, new pistons, electronic ign, performance edelbrock 4bbl manifold and carb, new heads valves etc (all receipts $9,847.); custom headers, high performance dual exhaust, transmission also rebuilt and new heavy duty rear leaf springs installed; complete front end rebuild and new heavy duty shocks at 103,814. The engine builder calims in excess of 275 hp, uses regular gas. The passenger seat, rear seat, arm rests door panels and vinyl dash all excellent, drivers seat pad is worn, needs new carpet, top with glass rear window excellent, top motor works well. Chrome is good or better, body is solid except rust bubbles around drivers side rear wheel well and very small dent drivers side fender up high. Original owners operating instruction booklet and dealer brochure. I purchased the car from the original owner in 1995. He bought it new in Pennsylvania and drove it til he and his wife had kids. His mother bought it from him and drove it til 1990 when she died. He got the car back and it mostly sat til 1995 when I purchased i with just less than 94,000 on it. original radio in dash worked when it was disconnected and replaced by an under dash cd, radio.
