1975 Honda CB

This is a very nice 1975 Honda CB550. This bike has only had 3 owners its whole life, with only 14,680 miles. It is a nice example of a 35 year old classic Honda 550 Four. Starts easily, runs great, rides nice. Paint and chrome are nice and shiny. All lights, switches, and electrics work great, even the original turn signal beeper. Still has the original owners manual, and tool kit under the seat. Inside of gas tank is nice and clean, no rust. This bike was purchased new in 1975. The original owner sold it in 1979 to the guy that we acquired it from just a few weeks ago. It has always been well taken care of and kept indoors. Since we've had the bike, it has had the oil & filter changed, points adjusted and timed, and a brand new battery installed. Starts on 1st kick usually, or with the electric starter. White lettered Dunlop tires are older but look good with plenty of tread left, and no sidewall cracking. The only things I've found that keep this bike from being museum quality, is 1) 2 very small tears at rear of seat from a sissy bar that was installed at one time, 2) exhaust clamps have some rust between the fins, and could use beadblasted & replated, 3) left headlight ear was slightly bent at some point, and was restraightened. 4 ) the original Honda exhausts have a couple places where previous owner repaired them, but overall they still look very nice.
