Vehicle Detail
Your looking at one of my favorite toys. This is a 1997 Jeep Wrangler Sport. I have owned this for 7 or 8 years and have customized 80% of the truck. The suspention is a Rockkrawler 5.5in long arm system. The old mounts were taken off with a plasma cutter and the new mounts were welde on, none of the bolt on stuff. The lift is all hiem joints that flex better then anything else on the market. It also cruises up the road at 80mph smooth and solid on the road. Transfer case has a short case intsalled with the correct spedo gear so the spedo is dead on. While I had the trans and transfer case out I put a Centerforce clutch in it so there is no slipping when you get into it. I had a custom driveshaft made by Tom Woods that is a double CV so there is no vibration no matter how much you flex the suspention. After the lift I didnt think the jeep still had enough get up and go so I had a set of 4.88 gears installed and both diffs were resealed and filled with synthetic fluid. I still wastn happy with the acceleration so I put a complete Avenger super charger kit on the engine including the larger injectors and a water to air intercooler. Mounted on the drivers A piliar is a boost guage and a wide band digital O2 guage. Helps to keep track of what the super charger is doing. I put a Hooker Super Comp header on it to get the extra air back out of the motor and welded it to the down pipe so there were no leaks or rattles. The tires are Interco Truxxus MT and prob have 2000 miles on them. They are 35x12.5x15 mounted on alumminum rims. To keep the music sounding right with the top down and the doors off I put an Alpine CD player in the dash, front Alpine R speakers, Alpine R's are mounted in the sound bar and 2 12" JL Audio subs mounted in an enclosure in the trunk. Im selling it with the soft top thats pictured, a bikini top that covers just the drivers and passanger seats and a soft canvass that turn the Jeep into a pickup with a tanue cover. The only flaws in the jeep are a small tear in the pass seat and a couple of tears on the drivers seat. There is a small ding on the drivers side A pilliar that was put there when the guy installing the new windshild tipped his ladder over into it. Its pretty small. It has the expected wear for its age but overall Id rate it a 9.5 out of 10. There are no surprises with this Jeep, It has been maintained with synthetic fluids thruout and I know Im forgetting a bunch of things in it so feel free to ask questions. I have some extras that will go with it. I have a set of Youkon alloy axles for it, a 3 bar MAP sensor that should make it respond even better, a set of seat mounts and whatever else is in the garage that says Jeep on it :). I just got an email asking about the damage reported on the Autocheck. 5 Years ago or so I caught a small deer with it and bent the grille guard into the corner of the hood. The shop I manage did the work and I optioned to have the hood and the left front fender replaced instead of repaired. It cost me a few bucks more to do it that way but it was done correctly. Feel free to ask any other questions :)
