This is a no reserve auction for up until recently my daily driver. My job requires a lot of highway driving. So much so the company was tired of paying my expense check. I've gone from driving the best car I've ever owned to a PT cruiser. So its with great sadness I'm selling this car, but it has to go. I would drive it anywhere with confidence. I recently took a 1200 mile round trip with it with no problems. I will detail the good and honestly represent the bad, look at my ebay feedback, I have sold several large items over my 10+ years on ebay. Every auction I go out of my way to represent what's for sale as accurately as possible. I want the next driver to be ready to roll so although its a little early I will be taking the car to the BMW dealership this week for a final oil service, then I will park the car in the garage until the new owner takes it over. I intended to wash it in and out today, but it rained most of the day, I finally gave it a quick wash, but not the detail I'd like to give before I took the photos. The good news is the dealership always washes it after an oil service. consistently 30+ miles to the gallon Tires recently replace, less that 10K Has aftermarket iphone/ipod interface Starting price well below Kelly Blue book value BMW serviced Both original BMW keys Garaged As with a car that has been consistently used over its lifetime there are minor problems non of which affect the driveability. I will outline to the best of my ability. The Dealership told me that a sensor in the passenger side seatbelt is out. This is the cause of the airbag light never going out on the dash. The sensor is housed in the seatbelt connector, you have to replace that part sitting on the left side of the seat, and then have the dealership reset the computer. There is a light on the dash indicating a problem with the passenger side tail light. Its intermittent. The tailights all work. The dealer told me it was a grounding problem that was common. There is a leak in the window cleaner reservoir, I never saw it leak, but the darn thing will only hold window cleaner for about a week. The sunroof works perfectly, however interior visor that is underneath it is out of the track, it doesn't smoothly go in and out, but it does do the job. The power windows all work, but the front windows move slowly. The bumps a dings associated with a car that's been on the road a while. There are small rock chips over the front wheel well, and a gouge that's in the plastic near the rear passenger tire. The Ipod accessory works with iphones, but sometimes is a little finicky, I didn't hard mount the unit, I put it under my seat, because occasionally, I need to reset the power to work with the phone, I have used it with 2G 3G and 3GS iphones and they all work except for the occasional need to reset the power. That's it, there are no other known problems. I am selling the car AS IS. There is a 500 dollar deposit through paypal. If for any reason you back out of the auction, that deposit is Non refundable. Its now garaged waiting for the next owner with over 300 miles left on the current tank of gas. After not driving it for a week, it's easy to notice the superiority of this car over my company car. The BMW is as nice to drive now as it was the first time I drove it. Good luck to the next owner.
